While you still want to enjoy the fun traditions, you also want to protect your investment and stick to braces-friendly Easter candy!

The Good
Chocolate
While some chocolates are off-limits, as long as it doesn’t contain hard nuts or sticky caramel, you’re good to go! Some good options are M&Ms, Hershey’s chocolate bars, Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups, or York Peppermint Patties!
Baked Goodies
Everyone enjoys some fresh-baked cupcakes, cookies, and brownies! These can be a great addition to any Easter celebration. They are easy to make and delicious to enjoy.

While they are special to Easter, hard-shelled candy is not braces friendly! These candies can break your brackets and bend the wires.
Marshmallow Peeps
We know this is a love em’ or hate em’ Easter staple, however, if you love them you’ll have to resist this year. While they are cute, they can cause a lot of damage to your brackets.
Despite your best efforts, some candy that isn’t braces approved might be consumed this year, and that’s okay! Just remember to stay vigilant in brushing and flossing to keep teeth clean and healthy.
