Meet Dr. Daniel Regan:

Dr. Daniel Regan grew up in a small town on the South Shore of Massachusetts. After attending Boston College for his undergraduate degree in Biology, he obtained his Doctor of Dental Medicine at Tufts University School of Dental Medicine in Boston, where he graduated magna cum laude. He then continued at Tufts to complete his orthodontic residency and earn his Certificate in Orthodontics. Dr. Regan has always been very involved with research. He has spent six years conducting his projects in the Trotman Facial Animation Lab in Boston, with his areas of interest centering around craniofacial abnormalities like Cleft Lip and Palate, as well as Facial Paralysis. Dr. Regan has attained status as a Diplomate of the American Board of Orthodontics. Becoming a board certified orthodontist is achieved by only a small percentage of orthodontic specialists and requires an intense certification and examination process on all facets of orthodontic treatment, including presenting clinical cases treated by the orthodontist that demonstrates proficiency in this specialty.

Dr. Regan’s passion for orthodontics came through his own experiences with early treatment as a patient and a lot of time spent in orthodontic offices throughout his childhood. He enjoys treating patients of all ages and has always found it extremely rewarding to help people with something as important as their smile. He really values the relationships that are developed throughout the treatment process with both the patients and their families as their smiles come to form.

When he’s away from the office, Dr. Regan enjoys spending time with family and friends, hiking, and golfing. Having grown up in Boston, he is also very passionate about his Boston sports teams, which luckily don’t clash too much with the teams in Illinois!
